- What is a reception invitation?
- If you eloped, had a small destination wedding or decided to have a civil service with just a few witnesses, you might consider having your reception several days or months after your wedding ceremony. The reception invitation would invite guests to the reception only, since your small, private ceremony would have already taken place.
