Washed out wood and beautiful baby’s breath make up a rather subtle palette in this rustic wedding inspiration. Does the setting look a little familiar? The happy couple just so happen to be the at wonderful Full Moon Farm we featured here a few months ago! This would sure be a great look for a relaxed, mid-summer wedding. Don’t you agree?

Rich woods and lush greens set the tone for this rustic wedding inspiration. I’m loving the dark hues and the woodsy summertime feel it all evokes. What do you think?

Colorful flowers mixed with rustic decor seems like the perfect combo for a woodsy summer wedding. I’m loving how the florals pop against the soft shades of cream and worn and weathered wood. So bright, so beautiful… so ready for summer!

Hello lovelies! I hope you’re all having a marvelous Monday so far! Now, speaking of marvelous, I’ve discovered another gorgeous resource that I wanted to share with you. I recently stumbled upon the most picturesque farmhouse and barn, PERFECT for a charming, rustic wedding. Have you ever heard of Full Moon Farm in upstate New York? It’s in the Catskills and it’s absolutely gorgeous.
This Hudson Valley farm dates back to sometime around 1790 and is steeped in history. The farmhouse was lost in a fire in 2007 but the 30 foot by 40 foot barn somehow escaped unscathed and still stands today in all of its rustic glory. I guess it knew it had a job to do: play host to your amazing wedding!
If you have your heart set on a rustic wedding, this location is ideal. To be perfectly honest, it does take quite a lot of vision (and budget, let’s admit it) to transform a completely raw space into a stunning setting for a wedding but if you’re up for the challenge, I think it’s so worth it!
After the fire in 2007, the farmhouse was sustainably re-built into a luxurious abode with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. If you’re having your wedding in the barn, the farmhouse is the perfect place for the wedding party to dress and take photos before the main event. It’s also available as a vacation rental if you’re planning an entire weekend of festivities.
I just love this little New York gem! Even if a barn wedding is not your thing, it’s such a beautiful location for an engagement photo shoot, don’t you think?
Be sure to check out their website to learn more about the property and to request more information.
