Classic Style: Tents

May 23, 2011

Hello everyone! Well, this is my last post as a Flights of Fancy intern! I can’t believe how fast the time went, but it was such an amazing experience. I had so much fun sharing gorgeous inspiration with you and I hope you enjoyed. Thank you to the Flights of Fancy team for all their lovely support, guidance, and comments, and thank you to YOU! Keep reading!

But now, before I leave…let’s talk tents. And I’m not talking just any ordinary rental tents, I’m talking gorgeous, stripe-y, billow-y, circus-y tents that make a huge statement. No practical reason necessary to use them, do it just for fun. Plus they’re gorgeous!

Color Coded: Storm

May 16, 2011

I was at the beach this week, and while some of our days were sunny, there were definitely some gray clouds that loomed overhead. While stormy skies might not be the best for beach-going, the blue-gray color of the clouds and the water is simply gorgeous. It can be so minimalistic and when treated as a neutral instead of brown or black, this stormy color can be really striking!

Classic Style: Archways

May 9, 2011

What better way to frame your nuptials than with a beautiful archway? If you are getting married outside or somewhere without an altar already in place, an archway is a great way to add some flair to your ceremony backdrop. Or, keep it simple and let you and your new husband be the focus. Either way, a gorgeous archway is a great addition to any ceremony.
