Bow ties are a super stylish alternative when your man doesn’t want to wear the expected, basic tie. They look great paired with a jacket, vest, suspenders or solo. Nowadays, color and pattern options are pretty endless as well – so you should have no trouble finding just the right one to coordinate with your special day.
And who says they’re only for humans? I think a bow tie looks ravishing on the little furry fellow as well!

I’ve decided to add a new category to the blog. As the name suggests, it’s where we plan to get our little fix for all things fashion… gowns, shoes, accessories… whatever we’re lusting for at the moment. Since my new intern Samantha has a passion for fashion, I’ve decided to hand it over to her for the next few weeks. I’m loving today’s post – leather and lace can be so chic when it’s done well!

Many designers, such as the late Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, and Project Runway’s Casanova, are all branching out and combining two different types of fabric together for this fall season. Mixing the hard, rough side of leather, and the soft, elegant side of lace, to create an existential combination that pushes tradition aside. It is cutting-edge, and lighthearted at the same time.
Below you will find an inspiration board that illustrates the two fabrics, and the way they work together.
Hope you enjoy!
