THE BASICS…
Do you shoot digital or film?
Digital
How would you describe your style?
I love capturing classic images, but I also have a modern and whimsical twist. I’m inspired by all the beautiful textures, colors and faces at weddings.
Do you shoot alone or do you usually have an assistant?
Most often, I shoot alone, but I have assistants if the wedding calls for another photographer.
How soon after the wedding can your clients see photos?
Within 2-4 weeks they photos are on their online gallery.
Do you provide an online proof gallery where clients can preview the photos?
I create online proofing galleries for my clients and their families.
Will you accept a job in another state or country?
Yes, I do travel and I’m going to be expanding my business to Michigan, where I grew up and am inspired by.

FUN FACTS…
How did you get started as a photographer?
I have always loved taking photos. After I bought a good camera, I took classes in photography to learn the technical side and from there have worked hard to achieve the style I want. I started by wedding photography booking smaller weddings with a portfolio I had from taking photos at friends’ weddings.
Aside from weddings, what’s your favorite thing to photograph?
My grandparents have a farm in upper Michigan and I love taking photos of the old buildings, flowers, fields, antiques and of course all my family.
What do you like most about being a wedding photographer?
I feel like an artist, hired to document their day. It’s creative, it’s fun and I’m just surrounded by beauty. I laugh a lot. I love editing the images and creating a perfect collection of photos.

GIVE US YOUR TOP THREE TIPS FOR BRIDES…
1. Turn your personality up! This is your day and your big smile and laughter will light up every photo.
2. If you’re investing in photography, invest in a makeup artist and professional florist.
3. Make your wedding unique to you through your attire, your paper, details, food, drink and location. It took me dozens of weddings, including my own, to realize how much you can make your wedding a reflection of your personalities and couple-hood and the photos will show it!
