Block Party Nuptials

No, no. This isn’t a post about tying the knot at a summer block party. (Although that could be fun too!) I’m talking about a trend that I have been putting off for far too long. What is it, you ask? Color blocking!

For several months I have been wanting to bring you this daring, highly fashionable trend, but I didn’t know how to incorporate it into a wedding. Well, with a little bit of patience and an eye for just the right color scheme, I was finally able to pull together a color block wedding! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do…

The trend of DIY weddings has revolutionized the traditional boutonniere. More and more we are seeing unique ornamentation, and it often doesn’t include flowers at all! This is a fun way for the groom and his groomsmen to get creative. I especially like when they are infused with personality, such as the camera-lover’s boutonniere below.
