Trendspotting: Guestbook Ideas

I’ve recently been noticing so many different ideas for guestbook options for weddings. Handmade and uniquely original seem to be common themes from displaying guests’ fingerprints and hand written notes, to creating posters featuring your guests’ signatures. My favorite might be the idea to write wedding advice for the couple on colored sheets of paper which get rolled into tubes and placed into a chicken wire installation! Whichever one strikes your fancy, there is a lot of room to make it coordinate with your colors and decor. I’ve collected a few of the ideas below. Enjoy!

One of my favorites take a little time but is a great shower gift – you make a scrapbook “calendar” with engagement pictures, the invitation, and spaces for wedding pictures and guests well wishes. Guests write their names on their birthdate. And the bride and groom have a record of friends and families birthdays.

Another guest book idea is a combination of Guests’ Most Memorable Wedding Moments + Madlibs + Predict the Future + Drawing skills.

I used it for my engagement party and had many brides use it for their weddings. Fully customizable to incorporate your wedding theme: http://www.etsy.com/listing/81989547/alternative-wedding-guest-book

We did a puzzle Guest Book and loved it. We asked one of the children in the Wedding to “take charge” of the White Puzzle Pieces and it worked like a charm. We purchased it from http://www.themissingpiecepuzzlecompany The Missing Piece Puzzle Company and it was very affordable.
On our First Anniversary (Paper) we sat and assembled the puzzle, bringing back incredible memories and a very romantic evening. We’ve framed it and smile every time we pass it!
