This definitely isn’t the expected holiday reds and greens that we often start seeing at this time of year… but in an effort to change things up a bit, why not opt for girly pinks and shiny golds instead? I think it’s gorgeous! Happy party planning!

Good Morning! I hope you all had a great weekend!
I have more store scoop to share with you today. I am beyond thrilled to announce that Betsywhite Stationery has teamed up with MM Ink to offer our customers beautiful hand-lettered calligraphy!! I’ve known Moya for several years and I’ve always been a huge fan of her work. We’ve collaborated on several projects and she has been the unofficial calligrapher for our photo shoots for the past two years (as seen here, here, here and here) so we decided to finally make this teamwork official.
When you order stationery from Betsywhite, you now have the option to add calligraphy to your envelopes, place cards and escort cards. What’s even more thrilling is that with this exclusive partnership, Betsywhite customers automatically receive a 20% discount on MM Ink’s standard pricing on the select lettering styles offered through our store! Be sure to check out our Calligraphy Services page for all the details about placing an order.
To celebrate this collaboration, we’re offering a 10% discount on all wedding stationery from now until December 31st – just enter coupon code CALLIG1112 at checkout to redeem your savings*. With this special offer, when calligraphy is added to your order Moya of MM Ink will also create a custom guest book sign for your wedding, free of charge!
I know I’m a bit biased, but I think this is a match made in stationery heaven. I’m so excited about this new partnership and I hope you are too!
*Please note this coupon code is valid through December 31, 2011. A minimum order of $150 is required.
Hi there! I have Real Wedding to share with you today. What I love most about our Betsywhite brides is that they’re all so unique – although two customers might order the same invitation design, their weddings are likely to be very different in style. In this case, Christie and Robert chose a seemingly traditional invitation design for their slightly vintage, slightly whimsical, slightly rock n’ roll wedding.
WEDDING DATE: June 18, 2011
LOCATION: Bay Village, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland)
CEREMONY: St. Raphael’s Catholic Church
RECEPTION: The Clifton Barn
PHOTOGRAPHER: Jeffrey Klaum
FLOWERS: Hosanna Design
GOWN: Altered J Crew gown
BRIDESMAID DRESSES: Altered Alvina Valenta dresses

WHY DID CHRISTIE CHOOSE THIS INVITATION?: We had a lot of Puerto Rican elements in our wedding and these went along very nicely.
FAVORITE WEDDING DETAIL: Taking pictures at the old house.
FAVORITE OR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: Marrying my best friend.
Congrats Christie and Robert – thanks so much for sharing your photos!

Hi everyone! I cannot believe that it’s almost Thanksgiving (where has this year gone?!) and I cannot believe that I am almost done posting on Flights of Fancy!
One of the things I love right now are ruffles of all shapes and sizes. No matter the fabric, I think that ruffles add character to any occasion. Plus, I do love looking at ‘ruffled’ wedding cakes! Enjoy!
