Trendspotting: Bow Ties

July 26, 2011

Bow ties are a super stylish alternative when your man doesn’t want to wear the expected, basic tie. They look great paired with a jacket, vest, suspenders or solo. Nowadays, color and pattern options are pretty endless as well – so you should have no trouble finding just the right one to coordinate with your special day.

And who says they’re only for humans? I think a bow tie looks ravishing on the little furry fellow as well!

Modern Style: Seashells

July 25, 2011

I recently went to the beach, and since then I’ve been looking up beach-themed weddings. Even if your wedding isn’t beach themed, having a few gorgeous seashells here and there can be fun and decorative. They come in so many different shapes and sizes, and can be used for things like weights, candle-holders, or just decorative pieces.

Piqued My Pinterest: Minty Fresh

July 21, 2011

Monday’s post reminded me of how many minty fresh goodies I’ve spotted on Pinterest in the past week or two. I’m totally crushing on that rotary dial phone!
