I’ve got another DIY download for you, just in time for all those holiday parties around the corner.  Use these simple straw flags to dress up any beverage (even Santa’s)!

Here’s what you’ll need and how to make them:

Tools: Shown above: (A) Cutting mat  (B) Ruler  (C) Straws  (D) Permanent double-sided sticky tape  (E) X-Acto Knife  (F) Paper

Step 1: Print out the downloadable template onto colored paper of your choice (for a homey, hand-made feel, I used brown Kraft paper)

Step 2: Cut out straw flags along the solid lines.

Step 3: Place double-sided stick tape on the back of one half side of the flag.  Make sure your tape starts from the middle so that it will stick to the straw (and prevents flag from sliding down).

Step 4: Place straw on flag, fold over, and press firmly.  Ta-da!  All done.

I’ve also created three different sayings for you, available in three different text colors – black, red, and green.  With all the paper colors and straw colors out there, the different color combinations are absolutely endless!  Hope these straw flags will add that extra little bit of pizazz to your next party!
