The circus theme may have flirted with or even hit a fevered pitch these past few years but I think if you take the general idea and illustrate it throughout your event in a non-literal way, you can create a completely fresh feel and look and people will be raving about your genius vision.

I’m thinking pastel striped tents … lots of vintage light-up letters from signs {bonus points if you snag a pair with you and your love’s initials} … massive amounts of string lights … a cotton candy stand for kids {and kids at heart} … and popcorn as favors …
