Prussian Blue Part 1: with Dahlia and Warm Olive
Several weeks ago, Claire – one of my readers – asked for a little help with a palette problem she’s been having. Claire is getting married this Fall and wants to incorporate Prussian Blue in her palette but isn’t sure which colors would work best with that shade. She considered orange and possibly a bright green but couldn’t quite envision how it would all work together.
Well, the good news is that orange and blue are opposites on the color wheel so those two colors work well together. The bad news is that there are so many slightly different tones and shades of these colors that the options are almost endless!
Not to worry Claire, we’ve come up with three very different palettes which we will share with you throughout the day today – all with Prussian Blue as the main color but each with a very different ‘feel’.
First up is a bright, cheery palette with a slightly whimsical appeal:
