Color Predictions: Spring 2010
Spring has almost sprung and I’m really looking forward to warmer weather and brighter colors! I’m terribly behind schedule with bringing you the Spring 2010 color predictions but better late than never, eh?
Every season, the fashion world is inspired by a new palette of colors and this palette usually dictates what we see in stores and what eventually become popular color trends. Here’s a roundup of this season’s hues and what the pros have to say about them…
Tomato Purée: This season’s classic red.
Violet: A romantic shade, invoking the scent of blossoming flowers.
Amparo Blue: Bright and energetic. Spring’s version of Navy.
Pink Champagne: A delicate neutral.
Turquoise: A vibrant, tropical shade (see how we recently used it here).
Dried Herb: Can be used as a neutral, works well with most colors (see how we recently used it here).
Aurora: A gleaming and energetic yellow.
Eucalyptus: Think of it as this Season’s gray.
Fusion Coral: This season’s energetic orange.
