Here’s another look at the thought process behind one of the new designs for 2010.

For this invite and Love Logo, I wanted to go with a royal academy vintage prep school look. When I was in school, we wore crisp white shirts, blue skirts (pants for the boys) and striped ties. I know most high school kids in the US don’t wear uniforms but it’s standard practice in Barbados (we picked up most of our habits from the Brits). When I saw these badges last year, I was so tickled because they totally reminded me of the Prefect badge I wore on my uniform.

Anyway, an idea was sparked and this is the inspiration board I came up with…
