Classic Finds: Vintage Globes

Sarah Darcy from Classic Bride has been with us every Friday this Fall to share a few of her favorite finds, inspiration and ideas for chic, classic weddings. Sadly, today will be her last post in our Classic Finds series this Fall.

This Friday’s Find: Vintage Globes

I have always had a thing for maps and globes… exploring and traveling just seem to be in my blood. So it’s probably no surprise that I enjoy scouting out vintage maps and globes and using them to decorate our little abode. I love how they hold a snapshot of history – sharing with us how relations and country borders have changed over time. Globes also reinstate to me just how small the world really is and how connected we truly are – a great sentiment to express at a wedding, no? Love having them act as centerpieces or as cute props in engagement photos… they’re so versatile and always charming. If you’re looking for your own, check out the one I have for sale in the CB Vintage shop!
