Color Palettes

Asphalt, Rose, Warm Gray

September 16, 2009

Just like this week’s inspiration board and e-session feature, I guess this palette would be considered a bit “non traditional”. I just think it’s cool. Pretty groom-friendly too, actually. The adorable ‘Love Is Sweet’ photo by Charley Star served as inspiration.

Tats n’ Tulle

September 14, 2009

Last week, guest blogger Sarah Darcy wrote a post about tulle and ruffles, featuring several gorgeous, feminine frocks. For today’s inspiration board, I thought it would be fun to also incorporate tulle but with a bit of an edge. I love the idea of pairing tough tattoos with delicate tulle.

Classic Finds: Blue and White

September 11, 2009

Sarah Darcy from Classic Bride will be joining us every Friday this Fall to share a few of her favorite finds, inspiration and ideas for chic, classic weddings…

This Friday’s Find: Blue and White

There is something so crisp and clean about the pairing of blue and white. This palette works immensely well for spring, summer and even fall weddings and I love when such a striking color combo is executed with precision throughout the entire wedding, starting with the invitations and envelopes. And wouldn’t it be great fun to hop in a rowboat for a relaxing ride with your sweetie before the wedding? Could make for great photos, too!
