Color Palettes

Gold, Cloud and Mist

September 23, 2009

This palette was inspired by the photo below of the amazing paper necklace by Hila Rawet (discovered via Oh So Beautiful Paper)… yes, it’s a PAPER necklace!! Insane, right? Anyway, I loved the combination of the gold with the pale gray and I thought that adding a soft blue-green shade would make a lovely, subtle yet slightly opulent palette.

wedding colors: gold, blue and grey

Stationery Options:
Love Logo #13 invitation (printed on Ecru paper in Gold ink)
Katia invitation (printed on Ecru paper in Gold ink)

Invitation Inspiration: A Woodland Feel

September 21, 2009

Happy Monday everyone!

I thought I would start the week off with another peek at the thought process behind the design.

When working on the Love Logo #14 suite, I knew I wanted to design an invitation with a woodland feeling…this is what I was inspired by:

You’ve already seen how well the logo was used in this wedding… well this is how our Love Logo #14 invitation turned out:

Classic Finds: Pink and Pearls

September 18, 2009

We’ve been featuring quite a bit of non-traditional inspiration this week… here’s a little something for the classic brides out there. Sarah Darcy from Classic Bride is back to share a few of her favorite finds, inspiration and ideas for chic, classic weddings…

This Friday’s Find: Pink and Pearls

classic wedding finds

If I’m ever feeling a bit down, I go into my closet and grab a pink pashmina and a strand of pearls. There’s something about the combo that instantly cheers me up and when the duo is translated to a wedding palette, the jubilant feelings can’t help but follow. It’s clean, preppy and polished. And if it looked that good on Jackie, there’s no doubt it will do the same for a bride {even if she isn’t actually wearing pink} on her wedding day.
