Classic Finds: Tulle and Ruffles

I really enjoyed having Sarah Darcy from Classic Bride join us earlier this month for our European Wedding Week so I decided to invite her back! Sarah will be joining us every Friday for the next few weeks to share a few of her favorite finds, inspiration and ideas for chic, classic weddings… welcome back Sarah!

This Friday’s Find: Tulle and Ruffles

Despite the enduring trend toward strapless and streamlined wedding gowns, I have always favored the frilly and more feminine options. I find layers and layers of tulle to be a good compromise between a contemporary gown and an ultra-girly gown… The waves of undulating tulle create an undeniable grace and if left unadorned by lace or beading, the resulting image can range from feminine to modern to border-line avant-garde. I love the idea of adding a little ruffle to the cake, too!
