Summer Holiday Weekend Wedding
Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July weekend!
There’s always a debate about whether or not a holiday weekend is a good time for a wedding…on one hand, out-of-town guests can take advantage of the long weekend without using precious vacation days; on the other hand, airfare can be a bit elevated around big summer holidays like 4th of July and Labor Day.
After weighing the pros and cons, if you do decide to have a holiday weekend wedding, here’s a little inspiration. I imagine a small wedding on (or around) the 4th of July…laid-back and fun with lots of charming details. Rather than using a red, white and blue palette, an ode to the holiday could be found in details like hamburger slider appetizers, apple pie desserts and fireworks at the end of the night.
