Both lavender and rose were predicted to be fashion-forward colors in the color forecast for Spring 2009 and those colors did indeed make an appearance in Spring bridesmaid collections for popular brands like J.Crew and Jenny Yoo. This palette is soft, pretty and perfect for Spring.
The bride and bridesmaids: The bride could wear a fun pink fabric flower hair accessory to accent her simple white gown while the bridesmaids wear rose pink dresses with small white fabric flowers in their hair.
The groom and groomsmen: Grey suits would be ideal for the men. If you can get them to wear rose pink ties, go for it! If not, silver ties would look lovely and a touch of pink and lavender could be added to the lapel with the boutonniere.
Stationery Options: Our Love Logo #14 wedding invitation (in Rose ink on White paper) would look lovely with this palette.
We also posted an extended version of this palette on the Southern Weddings blog…see it here.

One of our most popular wedding logos this season has been Love Logo #14, our tree logo. Having created this logo for such a wide cross-section of brides, I’ve been wondering about all those woodland weddings that are being planned and what they will eventually look like. In my mind, I see a laid back wedding in an outdoor location with stunning views. Wooden accents could be incorporated into the décor, like wooden table numbers and centerpieces set atop mini tree stumps as risers. Guests would receive saplings of the couple’s favorite tree as favors and post-ceremony portraits would be shot in the nearby woods.
