Vintage-inspired Homespun Charm
With wedding budgets shrinking these days, one option to consider is an intimate little wedding with lots of DIY details. In this case, the look is vintage-inspired with lacy luminarias, retro-floral melamine plates and home-made plaid napkins. Guests can be seated around one large banquet table for a family-style dinner and a few floral centerpieces could be supplemented with baskets of fresh fruit. Rather than a pricey wedding cake, cut and serve homemade pies (just like Gran used to make!).
