SMP Logo Contest Winner!

January 26, 2009

Our logo contest with Style Me Pretty has officially ended and we’ve chosen a winner!

The winning comment is Comment #114 by Christina and Chris! This is what they had to say:

Wow! I was initially drawn to #9 because the damask motif is SO trendy right now, and also #6 – don’t you just think of Baz Luhrmann’s rendition of “Romeo And Juliet”? I love it, it’s whimsical, romantic and timeless. That being said! My vote is for #3 – I find this to be the most elegant and poignant to the woodland-shabby-chic wedding. My fiance met as tree-hugging treeplanters 5 years ago and are going to be giving tree seedlings as favors (http://www.pineneedlefarms.com). I think this logo is great for elaborate weddings as well as the understated affair. Gorgeous!!!

It sounds like Christina and Chris plan to have a beautiful, eco-chic wedding and we look forward to seeing how they use their new logo to brand the event!

Thank you SO MUCH to all the Style Me Pretty readers for helping us choose our latest wedding logo designs!

New Logo Designs are Now Available!

We must say a HUGE thank you to all the Style Me Pretty readers who helped us choose our new wedding logo designs!! Over 300 votes were cast and readers left the most amazing comments and feedback (such smart, stylish readers over there at SMP!). In case you missed the contest, these are the 10 designs readers had to choose from:

Our plan was to launch 6 of the 10 designs but we had such an overwhelming response to the designs, we’ve decided to choose 8…and here they are!….

Love Logo #13…this logo was by far the most popular. Here’s our favorite comment about this design:
Comment by Karen on 21 January 2009
“…..It is very classic and timeless, but also in line with the latest wedding trends. Its simplicity is refreshing and would definitely fit with modern or traditional decor. For my wedding, I’m trying to style it with Old
Hollywood glamour and this definitely fits the bill.”

Love Logo #14…also extremely popular, coming in a close second. Our favorite comment:
Comment by GOA on 21 January 2009
“My vote is {Love Logo #14} for all the ecochic weddings out there. It is the perfect combination of symbolism (setting the foundation for new growth together) and style (it’s gorgeous!) which is what logos should be all about.”

Love Logo #15. Our favorite comment:
Comment by Emily R on 21 January 2009
“….It’s casual, but still effortlessly stylish. I can just imagine all the fun ways I could use it! Programs, napkins, invitation belly bands, favor boxes… It’s a DIYer’s dream!”

Love Logo #16. Our favorite comment:
Comment by Kristina on 21 January 2009
“……There is something so regal and yet timeless about it. I love vintage designs on simple modern stationary – the vintage look and the minimalist look actually mix quite well. A classy affair with a old timeless feel. I think this stunning combination is so unique and overlooked. Thank you betsywhite for bringing up this hard to find look!”

Love Logo #17. Our favorite comment:
Comment by Briana Selstad on 21 January 2009
“….It has a stylistic simplicity that is very sweet and timeless!”

Love Logo #18. Our favorite comment:
Comment by Nikki on 21 January 2009

Love Logo #19. Our favorite comment:

Love Logo #20. Our favorite comment:
Comment by Michelle on 21 January 2009
