- The wording you choose will of course depend on what kind of party you're are having but most party invitations will include the following basic information:
• An introduction (optional): This could be a short phrase or a few words (example: You're Invited!)
• Description of Event (example: a birthday party for Jane)
• Date and Time
• Location
• Venue name (if applicable), street address and city
• Response Instructions: If you would like guests to respond, RSVP instructions can be included on an informal invitation. (example: Please respond to Jane at 404-123-4567 by May 5th).
