WEDDING STATIONERY ORDERING PROCESS
betsywhite.com is an online company, therefore we do not have a local retail store. All orders are placed through our secure online boutique. We have made it a priority to make the online process as simple and straight-forward as possible but if you have questions about placing your order, please contact us.
TURNAROUND TIMES
From the time you place your order, the process typically takes approximately 3 weeks to complete before items can be shipped. This all depends, of course, on how long it takes you to review and approve your proofs. Here’s a quick breakdown of our turnaround times:
• Proof creation – 1 to 2 business days
• Proof review process – (depends on customer)
• Proof edits (if necessary) – 1 to 2 business days
• Printing and production – 10 to 14 business days
We do not accept rush orders at this time.
Here’s a detailed look at how our ordering process works:
Use the light blue navigation bar at the top of the website (and its dropdown menus) to view our various product categories: wedding stationery, wedding logos, personal stationery, etc. You can also use the menu options on the left side of the website.
Click on a product thumbnail to view that product’s main page. On the product main page, you will find all the details related to that item:
Since printed samples are not available in every possible ink & paper color combination for every invitation design, we have created the Color Preview Tool to allow you to preview each wedding invitation in all its possible combinations.
To access the Color Preview Tool, simply click on the orange “Preview Colors” button under the product photo. A new window will open for the Color Preview Tool, which looks like this:
Please note that the Color Preview Tool is only available for wedding invitations at this time.
Not sure which invite you like best? Want to see what raised printing looks like? Ordering samples provides you the opportunity to feel the paper, see the colors and examine the print technique in person. Samples are available for all wedding invitation designs. We strongly recommend that you order a sample of your favorite design before placing your wedding invitation order. For more information on ordering samples, click here.
Once you’ve made your decision, placing an order online is simple:
• On the product’s main page, click on the orange button that says “Add To Cart & Personalize”.
• Complete the order form: select paper and ink colors, enter wording, etc.
• Once you have completed the order form, either click “Proceed to Checkout” to complete the order process or click on the
“Keep Shopping” button to return to the thumbnail page to continue shopping.
• When all of your items have been added to your shopping bag, click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button
to submit your shipping address, payment information and complete your order.
PLEASE NOTE:
Payment in full is accepted at the time you place your order. If for some reason you must cancel your order after proofs have been sent, please be aware that there is a cancellation fee of 35% of the order total. Please click here to see our Return & Cancellation Policy for more details.
After you have placed an order, you can log into your account page to check the status of your order, see payment and shipping details or add an order note. Here’s how you would check the details of your order…
After you click on the “View Order” button, this is what you will see:
Within 48 hours (weekends not included) of receiving your order, we will send your proofs. You will be sent an email (to the email address provided when you placed the order) with a link to view your proofs in our online proof gallery. If changes are requested during the proofing process, edits will be made and a new set of proofs will be sent within 2 business days. Proofs must be approved by the customer before the production process can begin.
PLEASE NOTE:
Proofs are only sent after you place an order. We do not offer a real-time automated proof image during the ordering process (which shows your wording on the design as you type it). We do not offer this type of preview system because automated systems do not correct the spacing based on your particular wording, tweak the fonts or make the kinds of adjustments a designer would make to create the perfect layout. Since the layout and quality of design is very important to us, we have a live designer work on your files after the order is placed.
Production will begin on your order within 24 hours (weekends not included) of receiving proof approval. First we begin prepress production where your design files are converted to “camera-ready” artwork. Printing plates are made, then your order is added to the print queue. Once your order moves to the front of the queue, inks are mixed and your items are printed (to learn more about our Printing Process, click here). After the ink has dried, your order is checked then carefully packaged for shipping.
All wedding stationery orders (except samples) are shipped via FedEx. Packages are insured and a signature is required for delivery. Please be sure there will be someone available to sign for your package at the shipping address provided.
When your stationery is delivered, please check the contents of your box thoroughly. If there is an error in your order, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery. It is extremely important to us that we provide a quality product and although rare, errors can occur. If there is a printing error or quality issue, your order will be reprinted. Reprinting typically takes 5-7 business days so it is very important that you contact us immediately if there is an issue.
